Winter Night Snowshoe Tour

Snowshoe under the stars. This truly unique winter experience will take you on an awe-inspiring nighttime walk to view the night sky as you've never seen it before. Experience what it feels like to be in a winter forest while getting a rare behind the scenes look at what really goes on at a busy ski resort after the last chair of the day.


Tour Details

Tours depart daily at 6:00pm from December 1, 2019 until March 8, 2020 (as conditions allow).

  • Difficulty: Moderate.
  • Tour is approximately 1.5hrs.
  • Price $69.
    • Season Pass & Lake Louise Plus Card holders save 20% for up to four people.
    • Price includes guide, snowshoe rentals, head lamp rental and transfer from and to hotels in Lake Louise.
  • Meet with your snowshoe guide at the guides cabin in-front of Lodge of the Ten Peaks 30 minutes before departure to collect rental equipment.

Note: Tour must be booked by 5:00pm at least 48 hours in advance. Night snowshoe tours require a minimum of 2 people. Guests are required to wear warm winter gear. We suggest a winter jacket, snow pants, gloves, winter footwear, warm socks, and a toque or balaclava. A light backpack is also a good idea to carry your camera, water and snacks.

Note: Rates shown above do not include tax (5%GST). Pricing subject to change without notice. This snowshoe tour is conducted within the ski resort boundary and only within avalanche controlled terrain. A minimum 2 people are required for this tour.

Cancellation Policy

Payment is required at the time of booking and reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to reservations can be made up to 48 hours before the departure time based on availability. Within 48 hours of the snowshoeing time, refunds will not be issued. As Snowshoeing is a winter sport, there will be no refunds for extreme weather conditions.
