| Skiers and snowboarders are invited out to shake off the summer cobwebs at Lake Louise Mountain Resort’s sixth annual Heavy Metal Rail Jam. Open to both skiers and snowboarders, this annual rail competition will be set in jam format so the rider has more options and more hits. The Heavy metal Rail Jam will be sure to draw a lot of local talent as there will be tons of prizes to be won. Competitors will be judged in each category for their ability, style and talent on a variety of rail features in the early season RCR Rail Park. |

This series showcases Canadian national development, US national development, Provincial and International athletes competing for the Coupe Nor-Am Cup title. The series has great significance for North-American athletes as the two first place athletes in each discipline receive a spot on the World Cup circuit for the following season. | The last stop in the Junior Freeski Series is the Lake Louise Big Mountain Challenge. Set on the most scenic and challenging terrain Lake Louise has to offer, this event is always an amazing show. Age categories will be 7-11 years, 12-15 years, and 16-17 years of age for both guys and gals. Competitors will warm up Saturday in the qualifying runs so that they can move on to the Sunday’s finals and award ceremony. |
