Short Term Summer Shuttle Driver - posted August 11th 2018

Job Description:

The shuttle driver is responsible for transporting both guests and staff to the ski hill in the company’s 21-seater bus. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background and solid driving experience. The shuttle driver will be also be required to record daily mileage, ensure that the LLSR vehicles are in good working condition, provide friendly and engaging service and apply defensive driving techniques to uphold the safety of all passengers. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of company vehicle(s) adhering to the transportation policy
  • Timely and safe transportation of guests and staff
  • Accurate, timely, and organized processing of paperwork, vehicle check logs
  • Keep a clean & organized vehicle – includes daily cleaning of bus

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be required to maintain safe and efficient parking lot operations while providing our guests with fast access to resort facilities.  A high level of customer service is required. There is an opportunity to continue employment for the following season if successful.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct traffic and assist in finding parking spots/ assist in reserved parking area, RV parking area
  • Attending to customer drop-off area; greeting and assisting/directing guests
  • Parking lot and lodge decks to be monitored; cleaned, swept and clear of garbage as needed throughout the day

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, the Summer Project Trail Crew team is responsible for co-producing the upgrades to the upper mountain skiways.  The upper mountain skiway improvement project is the construction of a mechanically stabilized structure to create a beginner ski run from the Top of the World Express to the upper area of Sunset Terrace and Mirkwood Alley ski runs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install geo-reinforcements and geo-fabrics for earth stabilization
  • Operate earth compaction equipment – experience an asset, training provided
  • Provide labour to support earth moving equipment
  • Landscaping work; i.e. environmental rehabilitation, seeding and fertilizing skiway
  • Provide labour support for the installation of utilities in the skiway

Will responsible for a wide variety of administrative office duties in support of the operation of The Great Divide Lodge. Such duties include but are not limited to guest and employee check in/checkout procedures, registering guests, updating/maintaining employee related files, taking payments, ensuring each employee adheres to the LLSR housing agreement and serving in the bar/restaurant when help is needed. Job Description:

The role of a Support Crew member is integral for the overall success of The Lake Louise Ski Resort.  The Support Crew is comprised of a flexible team that will perform a variety of job duties and provide assistance as they rotate between various departments. Some of the positions that this team will be assisting with would include; Buffet Attendant, Dishwasher/Kitchen helper, Mountain Greeter and working at our Great Divide Lodge performing Housekeeping and painting duties.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Buffet Attendant:

  • Ensure the buffet is constantly monitored and maintained
  • Ensure cleanliness & maintenance of all lodge areas at all times including restrooms
  • Table maintenance - setting, bussing etc

 

Dishwasher/Cooks Helper:

The Night Audit Clerk assists the Accounting Department with day-to-day activities including floats, outlet cash outs, balance sheets and data input.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Audit daily from all departments, making sure that final figures are correct, noting errors and the causes of any miscalculations.
  • Performs related clerical duties, such as data entry, creating sales reports, word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
  • Prepare and issue change orders and petty cash, and floats
  • Nightly processing on FB POS system
  • Balance and reconcile daily sales
  • Tracking of 8000 accounts
  • Research credit card charge backs

 

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  • 1-2 years previous accounting experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years cash handling experience
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook
  • Switchboard experience / professional phone etiquette
  • Previous customer service experience in similar role or industry
  • Strong  communication skills
  • Punctuality and reliability is essential
  • Ability to deal with a broad range of people & departments
  • A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment

Work Schedule:

Ideal candidate would be available from 3:30-8:30pm Tues-Friday
