Job Description:

The Server will be responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all outlet guests by ensuring prompt service, accurate orders, and a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. The server shall perform these duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times, and ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. Other responsibilities will include the proper setting of tables, removing used dishes and place settings, assisting with cleaning duties, accurate daily cash outs and complying with AGLC legislation. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Provide friendly, efficient & professional table service to our guests

·         Increase daily sales at every opportunity

·         Efficient use of Maitre’D POS

·         Menu knowledge including beer, wine, spirits & food

·         Cash handling and processing variety of transactions including debit, credit               and company accounts

·         Ensure quality of product & services offered at all times

·         Ensure cleanliness & maintenance of all outlet areas at all times including                 restrooms

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Job Description:

Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and its uses. A working knowledge of stocks, sauces, butchering & standard cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, poaching, smoking and any other cooking medium needed to execute all types of cuisine. A general knowledge of all ingredients to be utilized in their area of work and knowledge of all health and sanitation practices. The successful candidate must be able to offer guests high quality service with professionalism and enthusiasm.

 

Job Location: The position is based at the Great Divide Lodge, which is a guest hotel, located at the summit of the famous Kicking Horse Pass in Yoho National Park. Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a kitchen work space that must be clean, tidy, well organized, and ready at all times during service.
  • Ensures all food is prepared on clean surfaces (and with clean utensils). Ensure at all time their stations are clean and kept to department standards.
  • Has knowledge and can follow all basic culinary standards, executing proper knife skills, cooking techniques, food safety procedures, culinary terms, positive dialog with guests.
  • Ensures food quality and presentation meets LLSR Culinary Department standards prior to being served. Station responsibilities must be monitored at all times.

Job Description:

The main role of our janitorial staff is to ensure the safe and effective sanitation of the base lodge areas and facilities. Janitorial duties will include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, garbage disposal and cleaning of washrooms. The janitor will be responsible for ensuring that all required tasks are completed thoroughly, on time, and with minimal supervision. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all common areas, public spaces and washrooms were serviced and cleaned daily by performing general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, correctly sanitizing benches and countertops and garbage disposal.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms including toilets, sinks mirrors and floors
  • Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed

The successful candidate must be able to handle all housekeeping duties with diligence and ensure that all rooms are kept stocked, clean and tidy at all times.This position will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, common areas and public washrooms located throughout the lodge. There is an opportunity to continue employment for the following season if successful.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all bedrooms, common areas and public washrooms are serviced and cleaned daily by performing general housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and emptying garbage and recycling etc.
  • Liaise with Duty Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor, and notify them of areas in need of attention pertaining to repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are well stocked, and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensures additional cleaning programs are undertaken as directed and to the performance standards required.
  • Packs and replenishes trolleys to the required standard at the end of each shift, therefore minimizing lost time at the start of each shift.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Skoki Manager, the role of Skoki Lodge Attendant is to be a ‘jack of all trades’ while delivering a high quality level of service.

Job Location:

Skoki Lodge is a backcountry lodge located in the high alpine of Banff National Park. At an elevation of 7,100 feet (2,164 meters) the lodge is only accessible by hiking or skiing the 11km trail that begins at the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all bedrooms and public rooms are serviced and cleaned daily by performing general housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and emptying garbage and recycling etc.

As a cook, qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and its uses. Will responsible for a wide variety of administrative office duties in support of the operation of The Great Divide Lodge. Such duties include but are not limited to guest and employee check in/checkout procedures, registering guests, updating/maintaining employee related files, taking payments, ensuring each employee adheres to the LLSR housing agreement and serving in the bar/restaurant when help is needed. The Front Desk Agent must strive to provide exceptional customer service and a positive guest and employee experience.
