Thanks to 24cms of fresh snow in the past 24 hours, the Lake Louise Ski Area is pleased to announce that all lifts will be in operation for Saturday, December 11.
“There’s definitely going to be some fantastic skiing and riding tomorrow,” confirms Bruno Mannsberger, Director of Operations. “This new snow has changed everything for us and we are busy getting ready for a big day on Saturday. We will have at least 53 runs open with more runs opening by the hour. We should have eight runs open off the Summit, and Boomerang will be spectacular.”
With the new snowfall, the “Top of World” six- passenger high-speed chair opened ahead of schedule and was in action on Friday morning.
With all lifts in operation for Saturday, lift tickets will be at full price.
“If you haven’t bought your Louise Plus Card yet, now is the time to purchase it as the sale ends on December 24,” said Lake Louise Marketing Director John Ross. “With the Louise Plus Card, you get your first 2 days free and get to ski for $50 every day, all season long.”
Louise Plus Cards are available on-line at skilouise.com, or can be picked up at all Alberta Sobeys, Sportchek, Sportmart, AMA locations and ski shops.
