The Lake Louise Ski Area is proud to announce support of Calgarian Brady Leman, ski cross World Champion and 2010 X-Games ski cross bronze medalist.
Brady grew up on Alberta’s alpine race circuit and has fond memories of skiing at his favourite ski area. “I love The Lake Louise Ski Area; there’s tons of terrain for everyone, it’s a great family resort and now, their permanent Sno-X course is a nod to their commitment to provide opportunities for up-and-coming athletes to succeed.”
Brady made a storybook return to competition last season, coming back from breaking his leg three times to finish second in the world. The powerful Canuck is a strong contender for the podium this season and for the 2014 Olympic Games.
It’s not every day you get to meet an athlete with such heart and determination. You might get a chance to meet Brady this spring, though, as a social media contest to ski Lake Louise with our local hero is in the works.
Brady will be taking on the best in Ski-Cross in Telluride this weekend and then he’s off to Europe as he charges for more World Cup wins.
