Due to excellent snow conditions, the Lake Louise Ski Area is pleased to announce that we will be extending our season by an extra week and will remain open on a daily basis right through to Sunday, May 8, 2011.
“We’ve had over 500 cms of natural snowfall this winter, our base is still sitting at 200 cm, and conditions throughout the entire mountain are as good as they get,” confirms Lake Louise Marketing Director, John Ross. “Our loyal customers have been asking us if we would consider staying open an extra week, and we are happy to oblige.
“If there was ever a year to stay open longer, this is it. We’ve enjoyed tremendous support from the local market this winter and this bonus week is an easy way for us to say thanks for your business. If you can’t go golfing, you might as well go skiing and enjoy another great day in the Rocky Mountains.”
