Party Weekends at Lake Louise!

Spring Episode 2010With only three weeks left in the ski season you won't want to miss out on the non-stop excitement happening at the Lake Louise Ski Area, from the legendary Summit Cup to FREE live concerts every weekend until our closing date on Sunday, May 2.


Summit Cup April 16, 2010
The infamous Summit Cup is back at Lake Louise. The event is open to all skiers and snowboarders and is designed as a fun, competitive dual slalom team race. The race takes place on Sunset Flats and continues with an après party at the Kokanee Kabin. All four-person teams can register through the Lake Louise Ski & Snowboard School right up until the morning of the race (10:00AM). There are a maximum of 40 teams (160 racers). The price is $60/team including GST and includes a BBQ burger and one beverage.


The DudesSpring Music Session - FREE Concert By:  The Dudes April 17-18
The Dudes formed in 1996 using their energetic live sound to grasp the hearts of Calgarians, the town that they call home, and is now winning the hearts of all Canadians. Influenced by artists like The Flaming Lips and Weezer, they have now played festivals as large as The Virgin Fest in Calgary and the JunoFest in Vancouver. Don’t miss these Albertan favourites as they take the stage from 2:30-5pm in the base area.


1-5-9 Style Session – April 17, 2010
Arts Vs Crafts and Rude Boys present the 1-5-9 Style Sessions hosted in the Lake Louise Ski Area's terrain park. Pick your heat: 180's, 540's or 900's. There will be $3,000 in cash prizes awarded to the competitors who execute the 1, 5, or 9 with the best style & control. Rude Boys is also bringing truck loads of product prizing. Sorry skiers, this is a snowboarder’s only event.


Lake Louise Reunion 2010 pass cardThe Lake Louise Reunion Party - April 16, 17, 18
The Lake Louise Ski Area would like to invite everyone who has worked in Lake Louise to a special weekend long celebration! Laugh, cry and reminisce with some of your oldest friends in your old stomping grounds.

The event kicks off on Friday April 16th with the Summit Cup event and an evening Torchlight Dinner & Ski party. On Saturday April 17, prepare yourself for a huge Reunion Party that includes live music, dancing, appetizer buffet, cash bar, and more! After a night with old and new friends, enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast on Sunday April 18th.


Spring Music Session - FREE Concert By:  The Todd Sellecks April 24-25
The Todd Sellecks is best described as Soul topped, funk rock with Electro Jam and jazz hands. It is a melting pot of style and influence all under the premise of entertainment vs. artistic journey that turns into a party. Join us on the Kokanee Kabin deck from 2:30-5pm for live music, BBQs and cold beverages!


VW Spring Episode May 1-2, 2010
Spring Episode 2010 logoThe Lake Louise Ski Area’s season ending party, VW Spring Episode, reminds us all why we worship winter. The mountain will be a mecca for skiers, snowboarders, music enthusiasts, and anyone who likes to party in the Rockies. With FREE live music in the base area all weekend and tons of on and off hill activities, there is something for everyone.

ON SNOW - Freestyle skiers and snowboarders will go head to head in events like the Shop Showdown, and The Akademy’s, What the Huck!

FESTIVAL AREA - You will be entertained by ski/snowboard scene favorites Smalltown DJs and headliners Shout Out Out Out Out, DJ Kato and Young Ones. If that isn't enough to blow your tight ski pants right off, check out the Kokanee Beer Gardens, Appleton’s Beach, demos, contests and Kids Zone.
