Posted December 30, 2011: Mother Nature has gifted us with tons of snow! More is coming down this morning, adding to the over 18 cms that have fallen in the last 48 hours. Conditions are the best they've been all year!
There is knee-deep powder in the back bowls, and with flurries in the forecast again, it's sure to be a fantastic weekend.
Happy New Year from the Lake Louise Ski Area!
The Lake Louise Ski Area is wishing our valued guests all the best in 2012 and if you are still searching for that perfect way to ring in the New Year, spots are still available for our torchlight ski and party. The excitement begins after the lifts close at mid-mountain Whitehorn Lodge, with drinks, appetizers and music in a majestic setting. Then, enjoy the mountain to yourselves and a freshly groomed run as our professional staff escorts you down to the base area for a smorgasbord of food and exciting live entertainment in the Sitzmark Lounge. Transportation back to your accommodation in Lake Louise or Banff is included, and you’ll arrive in plenty of time to watch the ball drop and party the rest of the night away.
Upcoming Torchlight dates:
2011: Saturday December 31st
2012: Friday February 10th
