The Lake Louise Ski Area Unveils New Mascot and NFL Mascots Compete March 22

Posted March 13, 2013:

The Lake Louise Ski Area is thrilled to announce Mascot Day. On Friday March 22, popular NFL Mascots will join us as we unveil our brand new Grizzly Bear mascot, who will be the official Lake Louise Ski Area ambassador for years to come.

The NFL mascots participating in the action include Freddie Falcon of the Atlanta Falcons, Sir Purr of the Carolina Panthers, K.C. Wolf of the Kansas City Chiefs, TORO of the Houston Texans, SWOOP of the Philadelphia Eagles, Rampage of the St. Louis Rams, Sourdough Sam of the San Francisco 49ers, T-Rac of the Tennessee Titans and Staley of the Chicago Bears.

“Kids and adults of all ages can look forward to cheering on the mascots in a dual slalom at 3 p.m., followed by a Sunny Tube Park showdown. After, meet the mascots and get autographs and photos with them on the deck of the Kokanee Kabin.” says Mike Moynihan, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager. “The NFL has grown into the most popular sport league in North America.  We are thrilled the NFL mascots will be competing at The Lake Louise Ski Area; it’s the perfect time to unveil our new mascot.”

Why not make a long weekend of it? The mascots will be having a meet and greet with fans at The Lake Louise Inn on Thursday March 21 between 5 and 6 p.m. The Lake Louise Inn is a picturesque resort hotel nestled in the village of Lake Louise, offering nine different guest room types to fit every style and budget.

Who will emerge victorious on Mascot Day at The Lake Louise Ski Area? We can’t wait to find out. Everyone is invited to this unique, fun and free event.
