Ability Charts
Unsure of your ability and which run's you can handle? Whether a double black or the bunny hill is your ability these chart will help you more readily determine your abilities.

 

ADULT / YOUTH SKIER ABILITY LEVELS
 
Level 1 This is your first time skiing.
Level 2 You ski cautiously in a wedge and find Green runs a challenge.
Level 3 You ski Green runs comfortably but would like more confidence.
Level 4 You cautiously link turns on Blue runs. Your skis are mostly parallel.
Level 5 You ski Blue runs with confidence and enjoy the challenge of Black runs, but you have difficulty skiing them with style.
Level 6 You are comfortable all over the mountain but want to ski with more performance.
   
ADULT / YOUTH SNOWBOARD ABILITY LEVELS
 
Group 1 This is your first time snowboarding.
Group 2 You ride cautiously and find green runs a challenge.
Group 3 You ride Green runs comfortably but would like more confidence.
Group 4 Snowboard Blue runs. Want to learn to jump & basic tricks.
Group 5 (Privates or Ultimate Steeps only) Snowboard Black runs with confidence. You want to go to go the terrain park / Ultimate Steeps.
   
CHILD SKI ABILITY LEVELS
 
Level 1 This is your first time skiing.
Level 2 You’ve skied a couple of times but only on the easiest Green runs.
Level 3 You ride the chairlift and ski Green runs comfortably but would like more confidence.
Level 4 You can comfortably link turns on Green runs and occasionally ski easy Blue runs. Your skis are mostly parallel.
Level 5 You ski Blue runs with confidence and enjoy the challenge of Black runs, but you have difficulty skiing them with style.
Level 6 You are comfortable all over the mountain but want to ski with more performance.

NOTE: A new helmet policy is now in place requiring all children under 12 taking a lesson to wear a helmet. Helmets are available for rent at Rental Shop or for sale at the Retail Shop.
