Child & Youth Programs - 2011/12

Under the expert guidance of our pros, your child will explore the mountain and improve their ski & snowboard skills through fun and games.

Kids Group Lessons

For ski ability levels 1-6 and snowboard ability levels 1-4 (ages 5-12 for skiers and ages 7-12 for snowboarders). Under the expert guidance of our pros, your child will explore the mountain and improve their skills through fun and games. Our instructors focus on safe "kids-only" teaching techniques. Programs meet at 10:00am and depart at 10:30am at the Minute Maid Wilderness Adventure Park. Full day programs include a progress card at the end of each day.

Children's Multi-day Pass

3, 5 or 10 day options: This drop-in multi-lesson option is an excellent choice for families looking for flexibility and great value for their money. Under the expert guidance of our pros, your child will progress over the season as they explore the mountain and improve their abilities through fun and games. Our instructors focus on safe "kids-only" teaching techniques.

For all ability levels (ages 5-12). Program meets at 10:00 am at the Minute Maid Wilderness Adventure Park.

*Maximum of 6 kids in each group Ski Levels 1-6, and snowboard Levels 1-4. Supervised lunch available at an additional $13 per day.

KINDERSKI

Ages 3 & 4. Taught by caring instructors who know how to relate to little ones, our KinderSki program is one of the most positive ways to introduce your child to skiing (available only through the daycare centre). Phone (403)522-3555 ex2118 for more details. No bookings required. Supervised daycare also available, by the hour.

BOW VALLEY KIDS PROGRAMs - 2012

Designed to offer children ages 5-12 an alternative program to traditional race clubs. Lake Louise Ski & Snowboard School is pleased to announce that this very successful club will be running again this year for the tenth season!

Promoting strong all mountain skiing / riding skills and mountain safety, this program is guaranteed to improve your child's skiing / snowboarding ability. Presented by our full-time CSIA/CASI certified instructors. The curriculum is presented in a Kids-only format achieving learning and results in a fun non-traditional lesson setting. BVK members finish everyday with smiles on their faces.

BVK 10 Week Program - 2012

JUNIOR BVK - 2011/12

Junior Bow Valley Kids Designed to offer children ages 3-4 yrs an introduction to skiing. Lake Louise Ski & Snowboard School is pleased to announce a new program designed to give young children a lifelong passion for skiing.

Presented by our full-time CSIA certified instructors. The curriculum is presented in a Kids-only format achieving learning and results in a safe ski and play setting. Focused less on technique and more on creating a passion for skiing. BVK Junior members will finish with a smile on their faces, every day!

We will be offering three groups per day (max 5 per group):

First timers, t-bar skiers, and chair lift skiers.

Lift tickets are available for free at the ski school desk, equipment not included.

4-week Junior BVK Programs begin Saturdays & Sundays starting:

Program 1. November 19th/20th
Program 2. January 14th/15th
Program 3. February 11th/12th
*Lessons run from 1.00pm-3.00pm.

LAKE LOUISE FREERIDERS - 2012

We are pleased to offer our teen specific program! Designed to offer teens (ages 13 -17) an alternative program to traditional race clubs. Experience the Ultimate Steeps of Lake Louise Resort. Learn how to master steep off piste terrain, basic airs, choosing a line, identifying hazards and basic terrain park riding.

Promoting strong all-mountain skiing / riding skills and mountain safety, this program is guaranteed to enhance your teen's skiing / snowboarding ability. Presented by our full-time CSIA/CASI Park Certified instructors. The curriculum is presented in a teen-only format achieving learning and results in a fun non-traditional setting.

Note: All children under 12 years old taking a lesson must wear a helmet.
Helmets are included in all children’s rental packages.

Prices are in Canadian funds, do not include the GST and are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation Policy: Payment is required at the time of booking and reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to lessons can be made up to 24 hours before the lesson time, based on availability. Within 24 hours of the lesson time, refunds will not be issued. For Bow Valley Kids and lake Louise Freeriders Programs, refunds will be provided if cancellations are made seven (7) days prior to the program starting date. There will be a twenty five dollar ($25) non-refundable cancellation fee.
