Ski & Snowboard Clubs

The Lake Louise Ski Area is proud to be a part of the following Ski & Snowboard Clubs and associations.

 

Junior Bow Valley Kids (JBVK) ages 3-4

Junior Bow Valley KidsDesigned to offer children ages 3-4 yrs an introduction to skiing. Lake Louise Ski & Snowboard School is pleased to announce a new program designed to give young children a lifelong passion for skiing.


 

Bow Valley Kids (BVK) ages 5-8

Bow Valley Kids ProgramsChildren specific teaching, building skills and all mountain safety. Children will explore all our mountain has to offer from the beginner areas and easy groomers to the bumps, trees, and much more.


 

Bow Valley Summit Riders (BVSR) ages 9-12

Junior Bow Valley KidsThese not quite teens will improve their all mountain riding on varied terrain from bumps and trees to ultimate steeps and basic terrain park riding. This program is guaranteed to improve your child's skiing / snowboarding ability.


 

Lake Louise Freeriders (LLFR) ages 13-17

Lake Louise FreeridersNew for this season: The Lake Louise Freeriders Program has been broken down into 3 streams: Freestyle Focus, Freeride Focus, or training towards becoming a Level 1 instructor (certification course not included). Your child chooses what their focus will be for the season.


 

Ladies' Day

Ladies Day ProgramThe Ladies' Day Program is a 2-hour ski or snowboard improvement session that runs each Wednesday or Thursday (your choice) for six, or 9 consecutive weeks. The basic program prices includes 2 hours of lessons per day, wine and cheese event, optional lunch (on some days), spring après events, ski demo opportunities and, of course, an unbeatable social experience in the stunning surrounds of Lake Louise!


 

Evolve SSX - Ski/Snowboard Cross Club

The Lake Louise Ski ClubThe Evolve SSX is an innovative club that offers a variety of skiing and snowboarding programs based out of Lake Louise. They are the first “Superclub” of its kind to offer programs to both skiers and snowboarders based out of just one club in the country.

Evolve specializes in Skicross and Snowboardcross training on the brand new Ski/Snowboard Cross course to be built at Lake Louise Ski Area this season. We will also offer programs in Big Mountain Skiing and Riding as well as a Freestyle program in snowboarding.

Lake Louise Ski Club

The Lake Louise Ski ClubThe Lake Louise Ski Club is a family oriented ski club established in 1965 offering programming from ages 5-18. Whether you want your child to become a great all mountain skier, a competitive free-skier, or a high-level competitive racer, they have a program for you.

The Calgary Freeriderz

The Calgary FreeriderzThe Calgary Freeriderz is an advanced freestyle ski club best suited for Double Black Diamond skiers ages 9 to 18. They offer a variety of training including moguls, half pipe, park and all mountain skiing, focusing on safety, fun and advanced skills development. The athlete to coach ratio small, to allow for more individualized attention. They are a fully sanctioned club at Louise, CFSA and AFSA.

Black Dogs Ski Club

The Calgary FreeriderzOur goal is to create a unique environment to develop our kids to their full potential. An environment that is conducive to the ultimate in learning fun which includes a variety of training methods, true beneficial free ski days and team events. We are proud to announce the launch of a new ski club in the Canadian Rockies – Lake Louise Black Dogs.
