RESORT FACILITIES
The Lake Louise Ski Area has everything – all the facilities and all the amenities to ensure a top-notch skiing and snowboarding experience, and to deliver a top-drawer group function. Our ultra-convenient base area, just steps from both parking and skiing, has everything to fill every need: rental and retail outlets; ski and snowboard school; nursery and children’s ski-park complex, which accepts future winter-sports enthusiasts as young as eighteen days; multiple dining and après-ski options; and a customer-service desk staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people.
On the mountain, novice, intermediate and advanced runs descend from every chair – a design feature that is virtually unique to Lake Louise – so that groups of widely varying abilities can enjoy the entire huge area together. One entire long, gentle run is dedicated – and patrolled – as “beginner only”, and experts will find infinite challenge in the myriad double-black chutes. The new terrain park beckons all, with fun features of all sizes. Secluded, rustic Temple Lodge offers luscious lunches in Sawyer’s Nook, as well as a fully-stocked cafeteria, and the Kokanee Kabin gazebo is a great place for end-of-the-day action, as are the Powder Keg and Great Bear Lounges.
And, at any time, our catering department can put the icing on the cake by creating, for your group, any kind of private function you want, in a wide variety of venues.
