September 21, 2013
Join National Geographic Traveller award winning photographer Mark Unrau for a 6 hour workshop at The Lake Louise Ski Resort to learn how to capture the drama of the Changing colours of fall.
The mountain landscape comes alive with colour for a limited time in early fall as the larch trees shift to a glowing yellow colour. Mark will guide you through techniques to help improve your colour photography. We will learn how to interpret the natural light and the best compositional techniques to capture the beauty of fall colours.
The day course begins with in-class instruction on the fundamentals followed by lunch. Then we will take the gondola to the top of the mountain to photograph the powerful vistas and the golden Larches of the Lake Louise area and have a chance to use the new skills learned in class. Mark will be on hand in the field to provide support and help with composition and answer any questions.
All participants are encouraged to go through their images at home and send Mark their three favourites from the workshop or any photo’s they have chosen for a constructive email critique!
Total time of the workshop is scheduled for 6 hours which includes a buffet lunch, gondola ticket, in-class and in the field instruction by Mark Unrau.
