Felix Enrique Calderon – born El Salvador, raised and lives in Calgary Alberta Canada. After his first band, “The Hansdome Devils”, Hurricane Felix and the Southern Twisters kicked into the cow town music scene in 2002. Along the way he picked up “Mad Maddy” Double bass and started slappin’ to influences such as Johnny Burnette, Charlie Feathers, Bill Browning, Johnny Carol and more. When you hear the Rockabilly, honky tonk blues, it adds up to Hurricane Felix & The Southern Twisters!
With a green run down from every chair lift, even the most beginner riders can make their way backside to Temple Lodge. Meet your favourite X92.9 DJs as they cook your burgers to perfection from 11:30am until 2:30pm, at Temple BBQ. Sit and enjoy the sun in Temple Beach while X92.9 plays live. All ages welcome.
