This year's winter events lineup has something for everyone!

Whether you’re an event spectator or participant, you're guaranteed to have a great time in one of the most beautiful, exciting and family friendly places on earth!  Come out and take part in the festivities this winter.

Monster Energy Ruckus in the Rockies

The best season ender party in the Canadian Rockies is back at Lake Louise May 3 and 4, 2013, and Monster Energy is raising the stakes. Join us at the Kokanee Kabin for two days of snowboard jams, live music and an afterparty in The Lodge of Ten Peaks you will never forget.

Friday May 3 - Mega Hip Feature

This year we see the debut of a mega hip feature, which will be located on Easy Street. Join us on the Kokanee Kabin deck to watch Monster Energy team riders Charles Reid, Darcy Sharpe, Dustin Craven, Eero Niemela, Mark Sollors and Mikey Rencz, and their invited guests, go head to head in a jam format that will push the level of tricks and set a new standard for big air.

Prizing: 2013 Kawasaki 250F Dirt Bike
Format: Jam – Rider of the day wins grand prize

Registration:  9:00am – 11:00am
Practice: 11:30am – 12:30pm
Course Maintenance: 12:30pm – 1:00pm
Jam: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
Course Maintenance: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Finals: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Awards: 5:00pm

Saturday May 4 - Rail Contest

Monster Energy is bringing in their brand new, custom built, one of a kind rail setup, and with 10 grand on the line you can expect riders to throw down! The jam format keeps the energy level high and master of the 45, Vinyl Ritchie, and his special guests will provide the soundtrack at the Kokanee Kabin. The Rail setup will be located at the base of the mountain and DJs will be playing until 8:00pm!

Prizing: 1st place $6,000, 3nd $3,000, 3rd $1,000
Format: Jam

Practice: 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Course Maintenance: 3:00pm – 3:30pm

Ruckus After Party

Saturday May 4

PK Sound is jamming 100,000 watts into the Lodge of Ten Peaks Saturday night. Headlining the night is Montreal’s own Adventure Club. Also on the lineup Monster is bringing out Mat the Alien, DJ Pump, DJ Illo, and Expendable Youth.  This is an 18+ event and ID is required. Doors open at 9:00pm.

Note: Tickets that were purchased online can be picked up at our Groups Sales Desk until 4:00pm on May 4, 2013. You must bring a printed receipt of your purchase and/or be the person indicated on the order that will pick up the tickets. This is an 18+ event and ID is required at the door. Ticket sales are final and no refunds will be given.

As well as the amazing displays by the Monster Team Riders on the Monster Features there will be lots of exciting family-friendly activities to take part in at the Base Area. All activities are FREE!

Bikinis for Breast Cancer

May 4

On Saturday 4th May, Lake Louise Ski Area will host the Annual BIKINIS FOR BREAST CANCER to raise funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. 

This is a fun event which is open to women of all ages. All Participants will ski, snowboard or telemark down an easy course in an "S" formation in their bikini tops and snow pants meeting in a central location at the base of the mountain.

There will be lots of prizes for top fundraisers, so we encourage you to raise as much money as you can for this cause.

Entry Fee: $35.00

Donations: all participants must raise a minimum of $150.00 in pledges.

Mountain Throwback Funk Jam

Spring Episode 13Come join us at The Lake Louise Ski Area in your best 'old-school ski gear' get-up and celebrate the end of another great season in style. The mountain will be a mecca for skiers, snowboarders, music enthusiasts and anyone who likes to party in the Rockies. 

The final day of the season can be your best with unbeatable spring snow conditions and festivities that include DJs, face painting, bouncy castle and sumo suit wrestling, a hotdog eating contest, a funky lap of Wiwaxy with everyone dressed up in their best throwback gear and a best dressed competition.
