Are you tough enough to buck the mountain?
The Second Annual Back on Track Ski Louise Stampede presented by Ranchman’s is set for March 29, 2014.
The Ski Louise Stampede features 2 races with Cowboys and Cowgirls dressed in their Cowboy Hats, Chaps, and any other Western gear they choose to wear. The first race is the Stampede Race including all of the Race Participants competing in a cross-style course located in the Terrain Park on Juniper Jungle, and the second race is the Stampede Downhill at the end of the day where all of the Race Participants battle down Easy Street to see who the ultimate Stampeder is. After a day of racing on the mountain and chilling at the Kokanee Kabin it is time to get ready for the After Party held in the Lodge of Ten Peaks at The Lake Louise Ski Resort. The After Party starts at 7:00pm and includes a full buffet dinner, a silent auction, awards from the day, and a dance party brought to you by DJ KMAC.
“We are very excited to announce the second annual Back on Track Ski Louise Stampede presented by Ranchman’s. This event will be bigger and better than last year. We are already working hard at creating an event that will be sure to entertain the crowd and challenge the contestants more than ever,” said Canadian Professional Rodeo Association Rodeo Administrator Kynan Vine.
The First Annual Canadian Cowboy Ski Race held in March of 2013 had over 50 competitors and hosted a large dinner of over 200 people. This year’s events proceeds will once again go towards the Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine Team.
