Job Description:

Thesuccessful candidate will assist the housing coordinators in creating a positive living environment for staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall cleanliness of the inside and outside of building
  • Vacuuming and mopping hallways, stairwells, and common areas
  • Cleaning units and moving furniture when needed

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Lift Operators at Lake Louise is to ensure the safety of guests using our lifts.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading guests in a safe, efficient, and friendly manner.

Job Location:

Skoki Lodge is a backcountry lodge located in the high alpine of Banff National Park. At an elevation of 7,100 feet (2,164 meters) the lodge is only accessible by hiking or skiing the 11km trail that begins at the Lake Louise Ski Resort.

The Summer Resort Projects Labourer / Operator is responsible for co-producing the upgrades to the upper mountain skiways. The upper mountain skiway improvement project is the construction of a mechanically stabilized structure to create a beginner ski run from the Top of the World Express to the upper area of Sunset Terrace and Mirkwood Alley ski runs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install geo-reinforcements and geo-fabrics for earth stabilization

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all bedrooms, common areas and public washrooms are serviced and cleaned daily by performing general housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and emptying garbage and recycling etc.

Job Description:

Will responsible for a wide variety of administrative office duties in support of the operation of The Great Divide Lodge. Such duties include but are not limited to guest and employee check in/checkout procedures, registering guests, updating/maintaining employee related files, taking payments, ensuring each employee adheres to the LLSR housing agreement and serving in the bar/restaurant when help is needed. The Front Desk Agent must strive to provide exceptional customer service and a positive guest and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure positive guest experience through interaction & satisfaction and resolve guest issues within scope of authority
  • Perform check-in/check-out procedures in an efficient and timely manner
  • Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from customers
  • Provide quotes for room rates and up sell where possible
  • Make reservationsand liaise with third party booking agents
  • Keep an inventory of rooms reservations and room assignments
  • Verify correct room charges and collect payment
  • Regularly communicate with Duty Manager to ensure the overall success of the department
  • Concierge duties, when needed 
  • Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations.
  • Ensure all cash is balanced and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift (at Front desk or in the Bar/Restaurant)
  • Assist other departments within the GD Lodge as required.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with other departments effectively within GDL and the Lake Louise Ski Resort

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude coupled with a friendly, polite and professional manner
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Must be able to work night shifts and work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of sound and independent judgement, reasoning, and discretion
  • Experience using Switchboard and the booking system RoomMaster is an asset
  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of the hospitality industry, with experience using Electronic POS an asset
  • Cash handing experience is preferred
  • Serving It Right certification required - must be obtained within 30 days of commencing employment.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • First Aid certificate an asset
  • Strong written and verbal English with a second language considered an asset
  • A police background check, from your home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment

Work Schedule:

Must be able to work a rotating roster doing a variety of shifts, including an occasional night shift

Job Description:

The main role of the Supervisor is to oversee all front of house employees within the Outlet. The supervisor will be responsible for training, supervising and motivating employees to ensure exceptional customer service is provide on a daily basis, and that a positive guest experience is had through interaction and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct & motivate all employees while working in a “hands-on” environment
  • Training of new employees in departmental procedures and expectation as well as safety
  • Complete scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage and monitor staff performance
  • Meet or exceed labor, inventory & cost control targets through proper control methods dependant on levels of business
  • Daily inventory and stock control reports
