Job Description:

Reporting to the Front Desk Supervisor or Duty Manager,the successful candidate must be able to perform all front desk related functions, display confidence and capability when using RoomMaster and provide exceptional customer service with each guest interaction. Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform check-in/check-out procedures in an efficient and timely manner
  • Provide quotes for room rates and up sell where possible
  • Make reservations and liaise with third party booking agents
  • Ensure positive guest experience through interaction & satisfaction and resolve guest issues within scope of authority
  • Regularly communicate with Front Desk Supervisor to ensure the overall success of the department
  • Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from customers
  • Concierge duties as required 
  • Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations.
  • Keep an inventory of rooms reservations and room assignments
  • Verify correct room charges and collect payment
  • Ensure all cash is balanced and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Refuel vehicles
  • Perform minor service and maintenance such as washing the windshield, checking air pressure, and replacing parts such as windshield-wiper blades
  • Receive payment from customers & issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers.
  • Perform minor property maintenance duties such as sweeping service station lot, scrubbing service bays and cleaning of retail space and washrooms
  • Answer customers' questions
  • Provide accurate directions where possible

  • Ensure that all bedrooms, common areas and public washrooms are serviced and cleaned daily by performing general housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and emptying garbage and recycling etc.
  • Liaise with Duty Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor, and notify them of areas in need of attention pertaining to repairs and maintenance.
  • Reporting damage, theft and articles found.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are well stocked, and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.

Reporting to the Janitorial Supervisor or Lodge Supervisor, the main role of our janitorial staff is to maintain and ensure the cleanliness of our base lodge areas and facilities.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all common areas, public spaces and washrooms are serviced and cleaned daily by performing general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, correctly sanitizing benches and countertops and garbage disposal.
