Job Description:

The successful candidate must be able to perform all front desk related functions, display confidence and capability when using RoomMaster and provide exceptional customer service with each guest interaction. There is an opportunity to continue employment for the following season if successful.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform check-in/check-out procedures in an efficient and timely manner
  • Provide quotes for room rates and up sell where possible
  • Make reservationsand liaise with third party booking agents
  • Ensure positive guest experience through interaction & satisfaction and resolve guest issues within scope of authority
  • Regularly communicate with Front Desk Supervisor to ensure the overall success of the department
  • Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from customers
  • Concierge duties as required 
  • Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations.
  • Keep an inventory of rooms reservations and room assignments
  • Verify correct room charges and collect payment
  • Assist the duty manager with the breakfast service, clearing dirty dishes, resetting tables etc.
  • Ensure all cash is balanced and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be able to handle all housekeeping duties with diligence and ensure that all rooms are kept stocked, clean and tidy at all times.This position will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, common areas and public washrooms located throughout the lodge. Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all bedrooms, common areas and public washrooms are serviced and cleaned daily by performing general housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and emptying garbage and recycling etc.
  • Liaise with Duty Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor, and notify them of areas in need of attention pertaining to repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies are well stocked, and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensures additional cleaning programs are undertaken as directed and to the performance standards required.
  • Packs and replenishes trolleys to the required standard at the end of each shift, therefore minimizing lost time at the start of each shift.
  • Advises Supervisor/Manager of any stock shortages, therefore minimizing delays in servicing rooms.

  • Following the proper operational procedures of the gondola i.e. start-up, shutdown and assist with maintenance problems that may arise.

Job Description:

As a cook, qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and its uses. A working knowledge of stocks, sauces, butchering & standard cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, poaching, smoking and any other cooking medium needed to execute all types of cuisine. A general knowledge of all ingredients to be utilized in their area of work and knowledge of all health and sanitation practices. The Cook will be responsible in the overall management and success of the kitchen. Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all food is prepared on clean surfaces (and with clean utensils). Ensure at all time their stations are clean and kept to department standards.
  • Ensures food quality and presentation meets LLSR Culinary Department standards prior to being served. Station responsibilities must be monitored at all times.
  • Remains appropriately groomed and must wear the uniform provided.  Must maintain a clean uniform and work station – both guest side and employee station area.
  • Ensures all items prepared on their work station are presented in accordance with departmental specifications.
  • Receive and put away any and all product on delivery.
  • Maintains a kitchen work space that must be clean, tidy, well organized, and ready at all times during service.
  • Provide assistance to all members of the kitchen as requested in a timely & positive manner.

Job Description:

The role of a Buffet Attendant/Slopeside Cafe Attendant is an integral part of the overall success of the Food & Beverage Department here at The Lake Louise Ski Resort.  The Buffet Attendant provides guests with exceptional customer service and possesses a strong working knowledge of all buffet menu items. The buffet attendant shall perform all required duties in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. Other responsibilities will include removing used dishes, assisting with cleaning duties, and barista duties as required. It is the responsibility of the barista on duty to prepare quality coffees and other beverages quickly and accurately.
