Avalanche Skills Training Courses
Learn the basics of safe travel in avalanche terrain; Terrain Evaluation, Trip planning, Rescue Basics & Decision Making
Lake Louise Ski Resort is committed to Avalanche Education. We offer Avalanche Skills Training (AST) courses throughout the season and are a proud partner with Avalanche Canada.
Lake Louise Ski Resort has access to some amazing backcountry skiing but we want you to access it safely with a basic avalanche education. We highly encourage all skiers and snowboarders to enroll in an AST 1 course - which we offer at the mountain.
