35 cm of Fresh Snow This Week and a Milder Weekend Ahead
Mother Nature delivered as forecasted, bringing 35 cm of fresh snow over the past week. This has refreshed the slopes and improved ski conditions across the resort. With 11 lifts, 4 terrain parks, and 154 runs open, there’s plenty of great skiing and riding to enjoy!
It’s been chilly this week, but temperatures are rising, with daytime highs around -10°C expected tomorrow and Saturday. Please be aware that some lifts and terrain parks may have morning delays as we wait for the mountain to warm up.
Tips for Staying Warm on Cold Days
Layering up is key to staying comfortable in colder weather. Multiple warm layers, gloves, a face covering, and hand or toe warmers (available in our retail shop) can help keep you warm. If you need a break, warm up in any of our lodges or take a few laps on the heated bubble Pipestone Express or the Gondola.
On days with a temperature inversion, the upper mountain can be significantly warmer than the lower areas. Sticking to the upper lifts on these days can make for a more enjoyable experience.
Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the slopes!
