5 CM Overnight? It Could Be More If You Know Where To Go
One of the best attributes to the Lake Louise Ski Resort is our dedicated Trail Crew a.k.a “Organic Snow Farmers of Lake Louise.” These guys start work in the early season and install black snow fencing called ‘vexar’ in certain wind-prone areas off of Summit, Paradise or Top of the World chairs. This fencing helps collect our traditional light and dry snow when the wind picks up, and allows the team to capture it or store it for re-distribution.
Next time there are some strong winds and new snow overnight, check out a line along one of these fences and you might be in for a big treat!
