Upcoming Event

The Lake Louise Resort is back with the Heavy Metal Rail Jam! This is an all ages, ski and snowboard rail jam event. We have cash and prizes to give out, sponsored by Smith Optics, UNLTD Skate & Snow, FRESH Skis, & Burton!

Contest Details

• Open to skiers & riders of all ages.
• Jam style contest with the top jibbers advancing to the finals.

Contest Rules

• A valid lift ticket or pass will be required to participate.
• A signed event waiver for the Heavy Metal Rail Jam.
• Please ski & ride within your ability level.
• Helmets are mandatory.

Categories

Prizes will be awarded to first, second & third place in each category. Each category must have a minimum of 3 entrants to be eligible for prizes, so encourage your friends!

• Men's Ski (16+).
• Men's Snowboard (16+).
• Women's Ski (16+).
• Women's Snowboard (16+).
• Boys Ski (15 & under).
• Boys Snowboard (15 & under).
• Girls Ski (15 & under).
• Girls Snowboard (15 & under).

Judging Criteria

We are looking for the following criteria when judging. Please ski or ride to your ability level.

• Control.
• Fluidity.
• Creativity.
• Style/Technique.

Bibs and Gear

Competitor bibs will be worn during this event. A $10 Cash Deposit will be required during check-in; you will receive this back when the bib is returned! Helmets are mandatory.

We will be offering vouchers for 20% off on the purchase of your lift ticket. Please see the Check-In desk on the morning of the event. Or, you can purchase a discounted ticket when you register online.
