Here’s the latest from the slopes:
Conditions remain ideal for snowmaking, and we're making great progress in preparing and opening more of the resort. This past week, we opened eight additional front-side runs from the Top of the World Chair, currently in early season conditions. In addition, we’ve opened Ptarmigan Glades, Old Ptarmigan, Ptarmigan, and Raven temporarily – expect early season conditions. Note that these four backside trails will be closed soon for further snowmaking.
The Learning Area also received a significant expansion with all three carpet lifts now operational. For added convenience, Paradise Chair is running as a second option to return to the frontside from Pika Run.
Another terrain park has opened on lower Easy Street. Features include two small jumps, a dance floor box, and a rainbow box – great for novice freestyle enthusiasts just starting out.
With these recent additions, we now have 21 runs, 9 lifts, and 2 terrain parks in operation with plenty more to come.
Coming this weekend:
On Saturday, expect the opening of Blueberry Run in the Juniper Lift area. This long, flowing blue trail will be allocated for race training in the mornings this weekend, with public access in the afternoons.
A large terrain park will open in the Triple Bridge area, just below the top of Glacier Chair. This exciting addition will offer 14 new small to large features!
Additionally, we're working to open even more terrain accessible by the gondola and in the lower mountain areas next week. Stay tuned for updates.
