Slopes that face away from the wind, known as "leeward slopes", naturally collect wind-blown snow that can sometimes turn 5 cm of reported snow into boot deep or better! Our back bowls can be legendary for this reason.
Did you know we have strategically placed fences to capture more of our famous dry snow? Cultivated by our ‘Organic Snow Farmers', aka our Trail Crew, these fences often create powder stashes that can be skied and used to build the snow base where needed.
