What’s New For The 2022/23 Season
Here are some of the great additions and enhancements that we’ve completed (or are working on) to help make your adventures here even more amazing.
Huge snowmaking upgrades
We’ve significantly enhanced our snowmaking capabilities by adding 48 energy-efficient snow guns plus kilometers of underground pipe! Our state-of-the-art system can quickly create durable and consistent snow surfaces allowing us to open terrain faster, fill in unwanted features, build epic terrain parks, and stay open longer. Moving and grooming all of this wonderful snow is no easy task so we've added four brand new snowcats to help do the job!
Juniper Area improvements
This new and fantastic beginner-intermediate area has been upgraded with a new snowmaking system and further improvements to some of its runs! Ride the new Juniper Express Chair this season and check it out!
Upper Juniper Chair planning
Want faster West Bowl laps and a third option to reach the top from the base area? Plans to begin the installation of another high-speed quad chair are in the works for as early as the summer of 2023. This new lift will load near the top of Juniper Express Chair and unload at the top of the mountain close to Summit Chair.
More West Bowl glading
We’ve created new flowing lines to make tree skiing in some areas even more enjoyable. Hop aboard Summit Chair this season and see for yourself.
More dining options
We’re planning to re-open Kuma Yama, Sawyer’s Nook, and Northface Bistro this season! All other restaurants, lounges, and coffee bars are expected to open as well (based on staffing levels).
Events are back
Our 2022/23 winter calendar is filling up with lots of fun and thrilling events. From the Torchlight Dinner & Ski to the Banked Slalom, there’s something here for everyone! Our events calendar will be posted online soon.
