Richardson's Ridge
New Lift & Terrain

The wait is over! After many years of planning, we’re excited to share that the first phase of Richardson’s Ridge (see location), our newest terrain addition, is officially open for the season.

Richardson’s Ridge Express detachable high-speed quad is now transporting skiers and riders to five new beginner and intermediate runs and cruisy, natural glades. With spectacular views down Pika Valley and to Mt. Temple beyond, Richardson’s Ridge offers exciting new terrain for the whole family to explore and is similar in size to our existing Larch area.

This first phase of Richardson’s Ridge is a major step in enhancing the guest experience at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. We’re thrilled to begin welcoming guests into this 200-acre terrain pod suited to skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. And we’re not done yet - looking ahead to future seasons, our long range plan for this area also envisions selective glading in advanced/expert areas and a surface lift connection from Temple Lodge.

The Richardson’s Ridge area builds on recent transformational projects in the past 5 years, including the addition of the Summit Quad and the opening of West Bowl, the new Juniper Express and Learning Area, and the new Pipestone Express Heated Bubble six-pack last year. Together, these mark some of the most significant capital investments in our history, underscoring our commitment to creating unforgettable skiing and riding at Lake Louise now and into the future.
