4 Week Level 1 With Job Opportunity
The 4 Week Level 1 gives those looking to become an instructor in the same season the perfect opportunity to achieve their goals. This course is ideal for those looking for an introduction to the instructor industry.
With the course starting at the beginning of the season it means you will qualify in time for the Lake Louise Ski School’s ‘annual draft’ of ski and snowboard instructors.

Ultimate Instructor Course - Gain five qualifications in 13 weeks!
The 13 Week Ultimate Instructor Course allows participants to gain 5 qualifications: CSIA / CASI Level 1 and 2, AST Level 1 (Avalanche), First Aid and CSIA/CASI Park Level 1. This course is ideal for those looking to begin a career as an instructor.
This is quite simply the most inclusive Instructor course out there! Not only is the on snow course extremely inclusive, but off the mountain you also get 600 activity credits, which can be used on a whole host of extra activities!

Employment Opportunities
Each Basecamper is guaranteed a job interview with the Lake Louise Ski School with the possibility to return the following season and work as a Level 2 Qualified Instructor.
Extra Activities
Each Basecamper has access to 600 activity credits throughout the course. Each extra activity has a credit value allowing Basecampers to pick and choose their extras up to a value of 600. Activities include cat skiing, snow mobiling, Calgary Ice hockey trip, ice skating and more.

EA Ski & Snowboard Training
Lake Louise has been working with EA Ski & Snowboard since 2009 to offer ski and snowboard instructor internships and training courses each season.
Ski & Snowboard Internship
This is an exclusive opportunity for skiers and snowboarders to train and work as instructors at Lake Louise. Upon arriving at Lake Louise, you'll spend your first few weeks training towards your Level 1 CSIA or CASI certification. Once you have completed your Level 1 exam, you will begin working as an instructor for Lake Louise Ski School during the peak season.

How to apply
There are limited internship places available. EA is looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who love winter. You must be at least an intermediate skier or rider to be eligible for this opportunity.

11 Week Instructor Training Course
EA offers at 11-week training program for riders and skiers at Lake Louise. This will give you the opportunity to train towards your Level 2 CASI or CSIA certification.

The Winter Skills Instructor Internship Program is an excellent way to train to become a professional ski or snowboard instructor. This program incorporates a wide range of ski/snowboard training at Lake Louise Ski Resort, certifications and expeditions over a three month period during the winter season in the Canadian Rockies.
