Play, Participation, and Possibilities!
The Lake Louise Daycare is a fully licensed daycare with staff members that are caring, alert, and love working with children. We divide children into two playrooms-infant to 3 year old; and 3 years old to children pre-grade one (usually 5 or 6 years old). We design, implement and reflect on our daily program based on Play, Participation, and Possibilities: An Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum Framework For Alberta.

Meals & Allergies
We have nutritious meal options available for purchase prepared and cooked by professional chefs. All Menu items are planned and implemented to follow Canada's Food Guide.
Families are welcome to provide meals and snacks for their child however all food must be nut free and prepared to avoid choking. Grapes, carrots, raw vegetables and fruit, sausages and hot dogs etc. should be cut lengthwise into small pieces and pits removed.
Dietary Requirements: Please alert staff of any allergies or special dietary requirements when arriving at the daycare.
We have a dedicated team of qualified professional early childhood educators who are also trained in first aid. We pride ourselves on being co-learners, co-researches and co-imaginers of possibilities and believe that children are mighty learners and citizens of our society.
Daycare Physical Environment
Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, nurturing, diverse and vibrant environment for children to play, rest, eat and explore. Our facility provides ample materials and resources in different areas of play. Such as block centre, dramatic play area, book corner, manipulative (hand-eye coordination), science and art activities centre and music centre etc. We also have an attached outdoor playground with toboggans, shovels, and of course SNOW for our winter fun activities!
*Don't forget to check out our ski and snowboard lessons in the snow school with our expert instructors! For children aged 3 and up.
