Know and respect these common signs on the mountain
Please review the following signs and their meanings so you know what to do when you see one on the mountain. They are there for your safety!
SKI AREA BOUNDARY
NOT PATROLLED
Ski area boundary is marked by these signs. There is no ski patrol or avalanche control beyond this point, and those leaving the ski area do so at their own risk.
CLOSED
Areas marked with these signs are CLOSED, and entry into closed areas is not permitted at any time.
CAUTION
AVALANCHE DANGER
Areas marked by these signs are open - entry is permitted. Be aware that avalanche conditions and run status can change quickly, therefore caution is always advised in avalanche terrain.
CLOSED
AVALANCHE DANGER
These signs mark common entry points into alpine terrain and some other sections of the ski area. Entry into closed runs is not permitted. Passes will be revoked for breach.
SLOW
These signs are areas of the ski resort that are defined as SLOW zones, and include areas such as trail junctions, busier runs, and learning areas. For the safety of all slope users, those traveling through SLOW zones must do so at a reduced rate of speed.
