Top of the World Chair Upgrade
While summer visitors explore the mountain, crews are hard at work preparing for winter. One of this season's biggest projects is a major upgrade to Top of the World Chair, helping improve reliability, increase capacity, and keep you moving across the mountain next season.
The upgrade includes:
- 10% greater lift loading capacity, helping reduce wait times during busy periods.
- New electrical and control systems to improve reliability. Following a similar upgrade to Glacier Chair last season, lift stoppages were reduced by 50%.
- A more energy-efficient drive system that reduces electricity use while supporting more sustainable mountain operations.
