It’s time to break out the sunscreen and enjoy classic spring skiing at the Rockies’ Biggest and Canada’s Best!
Join us as we celebrate another incredible ski and snowboard season with a full day of springtime fun on the mountain. The festivities kick off at 11:00am with live entertainment from Raven, DJ Petch and CORN, bringing the vibes for the final stretch of sunny spring laps and the ultimate slushy spring send-off at Lake Louise.
The fun doesn't end there - we'll have our pond skim open for competitors, fun-goers and thrill seekers alike, swag giveaways, and more!
Not ready to skim the pond yourself? No problem. Grab a spot, cheer on your fellow skiers and snowboarders as they battle for prizes and bragging rights, and enjoy the festive spring atmosphere. You might even walk away with some free swag just for being part of the crowd.
Best of all, the party is completely free—so bring your friends, bring your family, and help us send off the season in style at Lake Louise.

Registration opens Tuesday, April 7th at 9am and closes April 24th at 4pm!
Limited day of registration will still be available.
Day of registration & check-in for pre-registered participants will be located in the base area in front of our retail shop. Look for the Lake Louise tent!
Everyone must visit the check-in desk to receive their pond-skim wristband before participating.
Signed waivers will be required to enter the event. These will be sent to you when completing online registration and will be available at the check-in tent for day-of registration. **You must complete ALL 3 waivers (Events, Model Release & Mount Slushmore waivers) to complete your registration. If not, your place is not confirmed**
Minors must have a guardian present. Guardians must be within the pond skim roped area while the minor attempts the pond skim.
Please let us know if you would like to be considered for prizing at Registration. Contestants must be present during awards to receive prizing.
Important Info
- Everyone must check-in at the Lake Louise tent to pick up their wrist bands and confirm all waivers have been signed. Those who do not, will not get to enter the pond skim area.
- Registration does not guarantee you get to pond skim. At the pond skim entrance, priority will be given to those who pre-register, but participation will still operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to maximize your chances dropping in
- Must be 4 feet tall and above to participate
- Must be aged 6+ to participate
- Spectators must stay outside of pond skim rope area
- No poles allowed for Pond Skim participation
- No alcohol permitted in the Pond Skim area
